Value-Driven, Intelligence Shapes the Future | CYG's Technical Elites Win the 'National Advanced Energy Storage Technology Innovation Challenge' Team

Recently, the "First Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition: New Energy Storage Product Sub-Competition and the Second National Advanced Energy Storage Technology Innovation Challenge—New Energy Storage Life Simulation Prediction Competition" was successfully held in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province. The event was organized by the Industry and Information Technology Department's Industry Development Promotion Center and the People's Government of Changzhou City. CYG's "Energy Power Research Institute" joined forces with the R&D backbone of its subsidiary, CYG Sunri, to form the "CYG AI Technology Team" to participate in this competition, winning the "Team Award."

During the competition, the CYG AI Technology Team competed against elite algorithm teams from prestigious universities such as Tsinghua University and Beijing Institute of Technology. Leveraging their deep technical expertise and competitive spirit, the team worked against the clock to train and fine-tune their algorithm models with newly acquired data. They showcased CYG's technological prowess in the field of?energy storage systems –?EMS?across multiple dimensions, earning recognition from the panel of judges.

Competition Overview

This professional event focused on the simulation and prediction of the lifespan of lithium battery storage, aimed at bringing together industry elites, authoritative experts, and research institutions to discuss and identify high-quality solutions for battery life prediction. The competition adopted an "objective competition + subjective defense" format. The objective competition tested participants' accuracy in predicting the life of lithium-ion batteries by comparing predicted cycle times with actual cycle times to verify the accuracy of the prediction models. The subjective defense focused on the originality and advancement of the participants' prediction methods, with authoritative experts conducting in-depth questioning and evaluation of the technical solutions presented by the competing teams. At the defense, 12 industry experts and 21 competing teams engaged in intense debate, examining each team's technical solutions from various perspectives. This presented a feast of academia and technology, showcasing the wisdom and strength of each team to the entire industry.
