“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” - George Bernard Shaw
Satisfied people tend to recline into their comfort and exhale, not really wanting to change very much at all.
Dissatisfaction, by comparison, is an excellent catalyst for change, if you're prepared to think through the problem, create a solution, engage the resources and do the necessary work to fix it.
This is not an excuse to criticise or complain. It's an invitation to embrace dissatisfaction and befriend it. Use it as a positive force for change and capture its energy to fuel momentum.
Don't rest until you've reached your target, changed the world for the better or improved your lot in life. Dissatisfied, yet motivated and inspired people tend to achieve more than satisfied people who coast through life without challenging anything at all, including themselves.
