The value of correct guidance.

A relationship between a player and his coach can be a bit strange sometimes, first due to apparent reasons the age difference matters as also the expectation levels. So if a player wants something like more playing time or requests to play a certain position so a coach might have his own reasons to say no or to say that the time isn’t right. This might create friction in their relationship but this is where the trust element comes in. You got to trust that your coach and mentor are providing you with the correct guidance.

We recently met with a parent and a child and they were very keen to join the Pathway2Play program. After a brief understanding, our coach advised them to wait. He suggested that rather than rushing things through his child can complete his studies, and build his physique with proper workouts and also offered to share the details of good clubs where he can hone his skills before he comes for the Pathway2Play program.

With regards to children, time is of the essence so it is necessary for parents and children to have honest discussions with their coaches and create the best environment for them to grow which we do at our academy.
