As Sales Execution Manager, based in South Australia (SA), my role is very much about supporting people, working with team members across the board - from safety to state events, right through to recruitment, and this is why ‘Support Each Other’ is my favourite of the Bega Group four values.??

For me, this value is really important because people are everything when it comes to business. Without great people, a business simply can't be successful. Supporting them enables and encourages these amazing people to stay in the business.???

Working day to day, I see this value shine through in various ways and that is because one day is never the same for me in my role! I'm in constant contact with colleagues be it in State, or interstate and with other stakeholders across the company. My role is often referred to as "the glue" which is humbling and at the same time also makes what I do so rewarding. A team member who I’d like to give a shout out to would be Mark Hamnett who does a great job demonstrating this value and supporting his State - he always offers to help even when his plate is full.???

I like to be the person people come to for an array of reasons. For a helping hand, an ear to talk to, or just to be the "voice of reason". I am always grateful for the space I'm given in forums; I'm actively included, and I try to include others. These are just some of the ways that I try and demonstrate supporting each other daily.?

I’d describe the Bega Group as proud, innovative and supportive. I find the culture has come a long way since I started. I can only speak for myself in SA, but the culture here is what keeps me getting up in the morning and enjoying what I do. I’ve been here five years. The Bega Group is a great Australian company with great brands and that makes me proud to work here??

Being a part of an Australian company with iconic brands is so relevant, especially in this current climate. With prices going up across the board you find comfort in knowing that you are supported by a company that is keeping jobs in Australia. I love our brands and that gives me a sense of pride when I tell people who I work for and I think many people might not realise how much we support our local farmers. Like so many of my colleagues, it is the people and the brands that I love the most about working here and this is what keeps me coming back for more day-to-day.?????
