Valencia to host Webit.Festival Europe 2020
Congrats to Valencia for winning the open call for Webit.Festival Europe city host in 2020!
The past 8 months have been very hard time for the entire Webit team to select the city host among 27 cities candidates including London, Paris, Madrid, Budapest, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Liverpool, Rotterdam, Vienna, Brussels,... (to name a few) which participated in the call.
At the same time it has been a tremendous recognition and a humbling experience of the Webit's international impact in growing and fostering the global innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems development to have such an amazing lineup of cities competing to host Webit.Festival - created not in Silicon Valley, but in Sofia, Bulgaria!
The ambition of Valencia' city government, the committed and growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and the Spanish hospitality won the right to host Webit and we all look forward to the 2020 edition!
Congratulations! ??
We look forward to further grow Webit's impact globally and to continue contributing to improvement of the state of well-being through empowering entrepreneurship, innovation and the participation of women in business and politics!
And of course we shall continue to support and expand to other Webit locations around the world and of course Sofia is key for us, as it is a home city and I am a goodwill Ambassador for Digital Affairs of Republic of Bulgaria. Webit never leaves... we only grow and build bridges!
I am grateful we have built an amazing Webit team, grew a global Webit family, friends and partners who I am so proud of! The Webit community is based on values and ??s!
