The storm and floods in Spain, called DANA, have claimed the lives of 215 people so far (211 of them in the community of Valencia) and more people are missing.

Thousands of families have lost their homes, businesses, and access to essential services such as drinking water, food, electricity, and safe shelter.

Casa Caridad Valencia - a pioneering NGO providing care to homeless people and those at risk of social exclusion. They have been gathering and delivering food, water, cleaning products, etc. The donation info can be found here. The options are bank transfer and Bizum (Code: 33587).

Banks - Various banks have activated donation platforms for this emergency, sharing details on their websites and social media. For example, ibercaja is cooperating with Red Cross Spain, to gather donations that will be used for the most pressing needs of the affected people and families. You can donate via a bank transfer, by card or with Bizum (Code: 05404).
