“We plan to have a stellar event—and we intend for it to be a very special event this year to honor our late Executive Director Rob West who was fully dedicated to this community,” says Bayer YMCA Board Chair James D. Hill.
Board Fundraising Chair Connie Johnson agrees with the sentiment. “The Bayer Y holds a very special place for area families and the Y organization as a whole held a very special place for Rob. Everyone participating in this campaign is extremely motivated. The donated auction items we’ve acquired thus far show how serious we are about having a top quality experience all the way.”
Auction slots are still available as a unique opportunity for small businesses to promote themselves to the Bayer community and its 7,000+ members.
The 2022 Annual Campaign supports vital programming at this branch of the YMCA, located at 5555 Page Ave in St. Louis, MO. Activities for all ages include a robust tech lab and esports league in the Teen Center, community garden and healthy cooking classes, sports clinics, senior exercise, early childhood education center for members as young as six months old and $5 swim lessons, discounted for the youngest members of the community who learn life-saving skills.?
