Job Title: Technician (Utility)

Job Grade: JG 10

Department: Engineering - Utility

Workplace: Brewery

Report To: Utility Engineer

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Hour: Shift Duty Assignment (Extended Working Hours may need on some occasions when necessary)

Responsibilities:

? Check, monitor, operate, and control the Utility Operation according to specified procedures and parameters.

? Monitor and control the usage of production materials to minimize losses and wastage and optimize the utilization of material and utility consumption.

? Ensure smooth and efficient operation of Utility process and Utility operations so as to achieve production targets and quality standards.

? Comply with ISO procedures/ work instructions as guidelines for all daily production’s operations.

? Assist the production supervisor (Engineering/Utility) and Process Engineer in day-to-day operation, administration, and planning/ control of activity.

? Involve pro- actively in troubleshooting and assisting in starting – up of plant and machinery (both new andafter overhauls)

Primary Requirements:

? Bachelor or Dip in Mechanical /Mechatronic Engineering.

? 2 years of experience in mechanical, maintenance work or workshop environment.

? Knowledge of brewing, packaging, and utility process equipment/components.

? Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and word. AutoCAD will be added advantage.

? Good Negotiation, interpersonal & ability to work in a team

? Effective communication, including writing, speaking, and active listening

More Prefer:

? Prefer degree in Mechanical Engineer.

? Must have the flexibility to work on extended hours, and holidays.
