What all is needed to live through this life is given. What we called “world” is given. To understand this world, senses and sense organs are given. As a child when I was born in this world, my mother was prepared by nature to nourish me. The nourishment was given. Mind is given. Capacity to remember is given so that I can recognise. An object is given so that I can perceive and recognise. Reasoning and thinking capacity are given to perceive and imbibe as per one’s own disposition.

The letters and words are given. The knowledge is given and the people who could make that knowledge grasped and assimilated by my average intellect are given. All the forms and objects that I see are already given a name for me to recollect and recognise. The names of all the people that I have met and will be meeting in my life is given and so is the name of the relationships that I had, have and will be having will be given.

Time, situation, and people give the best of life’s lesson which I would have never been able to get no matter how many degrees I would have accumulated. The people have given, are giving, and will be giving applauds and criticism to bring out the best in me and at the same time help me to be grounded and not lose my sanity.

My intellect can not count and write about what all is given, but one thing is sure cannot be grateful enough for what I have received till now … Hope this new year brings more gratitude and awareness towards what all is given till now and what all will be given in future. May this newness bring more of appreciation for what is already given, what is constantly being given and what all will be given in coming days.

Hoping, wishing, and praying that I would be reverential towards what is given and make the best use to be better as a human in all days to come …?
