Uzbekistan at the Center of Fintech: IT Park Unveils the Enterprise Uzbekistan Project at Central Asia Fintech Summit 2024
The Central Asia Fintech Summit | CAFS 2024 held in Almaty has emerged as a pivotal platform for discussing trends and innovations in the fintech sector. This premier event in the region brought together over 70 experts, industry leaders, and representatives of fintech companies to examine the key challenges and opportunities for Central Asia’s financial systems.
During the panel discussion on the "Central Asia Fintech Ecosystem", participants explored the creation of an effective environment for innovators and the role of government initiatives in fintech development. One of the keynote speakers was Akbar Gulyamov , Project Director of the International Digital Technologies Center — Enterprise Uzbekistan. He introduced the Enterprise Uzbekistan project, which is focused on establishing a special regulated zone to support startups and attract international companies.
In his address, Gulyamov underscored Uzbekistan’s strategic initiatives in digital technologies, emphasizing the nation’s active efforts to strengthen its position on the international stage.
