Kazakhstan secures unlimited flight access to Hainan under 'Open Skies' agreement with China (source)

  • During the inaugural conference in Xi'an, China and Kazakhstan established an 'open skies' regime permitting designated carriers from both nations to operate up to 124 flights per week
  • Kazakhstan Airlines has been granted the right to operate an unlimited number of flights to Hainan Island utilizing the fifth, sixth, and seventh freedoms of the air.

Uzbekistan and Mongolia to operate direct flights (source)

  • The President of Mongolia and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan have signed an agreement regulating trade-economic relations stating that the airlines of both countries will receive a legal framework to operate direct flights
  • Furthermore, a cooperation agreement has been signed encompassing trade, economics, science, technology, culture, and humanitarian activities

Somon Air resumes flights to Islamabad (source)

  • Somont Air, a Tajikistan airline, is set to resume direct passenger flights ex Dushanbe (Tajikistan) to Islamabad (Pakistan) VV starting from 27 June 2024
  • The flights will be operating twice a week using Boeing 737-800 equipment

Red Wings boosts Kazakhstan flight frequency (source)

  • Red Wings, a Russian airline, will enhance the frequency of its regular passenger flights between Ufa (Russia) and Almaty (Kazakhstan) starting 3 July 2024
  • The number of weekly flights on this route will increase to two per week using Sukhoi Superjet 100 equipment

Uzbekistan Airways started to operate flights to Saint Petersburg (source)

  • Uzbekistan Airways, a national carrier of Uzbekistan, started to operate direct passenger flights ex Qarshi (Uzbekistan) to Saint Petersburg (Russia) VV
  • The flights will be operated every Monday on Airbus А320neo aircraft
