Asman Airlines to launch domestic flights (source)

• Asman Airlines, a newly established Kyrgyzstan airline, will start to operate domestic flights on the route Bishkek-Talas-Osh-Bishkek using two Dash8-402 aircraft on 27 September 2024
• The airline aims to expand its operations, including flights to regional airports and international destinations like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

• Mavi G?k Aviation, a Turkish airline, started to operate direct passenger flights ex Antalya, Turkiye to Astana, Kazakhstan VV
• The flights are operated twice a week using Boeing 737-800 aircraft

Fly Khiva obtained the EU ACC3/RA3 certification (source)

• Fly Khiva, an Uzbekistan airline, has successfully obtained the EU ACC3/RA3 certification which allows the airline to transport cargo from Tashkent International Airport to European countries
• This milestone enhances the company's capabilities and opens up new opportunities in the industry, improving service for clients and partners

Urgench Airport resumes operations (source)

• Urgench International Airport in Uzbekistan has reopened after a major renovation of its runway, which included reinforcement and repairs to accommodate larger aircraft like Boeing 787 and Airbus A330
• The airport renovation is a part of a broader plan that includes a tender for further modernization, such as building a new terminal and runway through a public-private partnership
