As data about us grows, experiences are becoming more intuitive as they become more personalized. What are the trade-offs to this personalization, and are such trade-offs acceptable to users? When design becomes intrusive, does this cause mistrust, or can the user learn to "cope" and eventually feel comfortable with - and adapt to the change? What can designers do to build and maintain a level of trust, enablement, and control that is acceptable to our users?
