UX Is a Way of Thinking
For me, UX is no longer just a design discipline—it’s a part of how I see and navigate the world around me.
One book that has significantly shaped my thinking, both in life and as a UX designer, is Atomic Habits by James Clear. It’s a must-read for anyone looking to train their brain to think more clearly and approach problems with a fresh perspective.
A great example of effective UX design that stood out to me was during my first experience traveling on the Delhi Metro. Have you ever noticed the color-coded step stickers guiding travelers to different metro lines—Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Violet, Pink, Magenta, and Grey?
It’s a beautifully simple yet powerful design. Commuters don’t have to stress about finding their platform. They just need to know the color of their line. From there, they can follow the corresponding stickers on the floor, making their journey seamless and intuitive.
This design is not only efficient but also universal, catering to almost all age groups and ensuring accessibility for everyone.
It’s a reminder of how good UX when done right, simplifies complex systems and makes life easier for its users.
What’s an example of great UX design you’ve encountered in your daily life? Let’s share and celebrate these small but impactful innovations!

1 个月Delhi Metro is extremely thoughtfully designed. When I visited Delhi and wanted to travel by metro I was amazed with how thoughtfully coloured foot prints landed you at the correct line of metro you wanted to reach without really bothering anyone.
