UVC-LED at Aquatech/Amsterdam
Innovative UVC-LED based solutions were shown on Aquatech/Amsterdam this year. Totally 10 exhibitors presented their UVC-LED components and systems; the later mostly for POU, some for POE and one larger flowrate solution. Whilst some UV lamp manufacturers still have reservations about this innovative new technology, UVC-LED are widely entering into water treatment applications and will further expand their presence in this market as the technology will become more and more competitive.
An imortant sign came from NSF, which recently published the NSF55:2019 to take the technical characteristics of UV LED technology into account. First NSF/ANSI 55-2019 certified systems were shown on the show.

5 年But so far, UVC LED still low power and poor disinfection effect. At the same time, the price is still high. Still need some year for development.
