Taking advantage of an advanced banknote authentication technology that is widely used in many countries, HS2028, an UV counterfeit detector,is capable of detecting the differences between the UV-absorbing and UV-reflecting paints. It allow you to check the watermark, complimentary optical (recto-verso) as well as microprints with its magnifying glass. It is equipped with a magnetic head to check magnetic signs and strands. Banknotes with such protection are coated with a special magnetized paint, such as US dollar. So, some part of the surface of a banknote can trigger the sensor of such device.

Two modern high-power (16W) UV lamps are used in this unit. Its design ensures that the fluorescent lamp is heated by a pair of power contacts, which greatly influences the service life. The lamp consumes most when the voltage is instable, ie ON and OFF.
