Compact Subsea Electric Sensor Released by ELWAVE

ELWAVE has released the TETRAPULSE ESENSE 300, a compact subsea electric sensor that uses CEDAR (Controlled Electric Detection And Ranging) patented technology to detect plastic and metallic objects, even in high turbidity water with no light, much like an ‘electric camera’.

The TETRAPULSE ESENSE 300 is suitable for a wide range of subsea platforms including AUVs, ROVs, and subsea crawlers. Capable of detecting both metal and non-metallic targets, the sensor can also identify non-ferrous materials and targets buried 1-2 meters beneath the seafloor.

Academic & Technical Collaborative Mission Unveiled

Teledyne?Webb Research and 美国罗格斯新泽西州立大学新布朗斯维克分校 have unveiled The Sentinel Mission in a display of academic and technological collaboration.?

This unprecedented initiative marks the beginning of an ambitious journey as?Teledyne’s Slocum Sentinel Glider, “Redwing” (Research & Education Doug Webb Inter-National Glider), prepares for a historic round-the-world flight. The mission is further strengthened by the involvement of NOAA, the Marine Technology Society, and the UN Ocean Decade.

The announcement, which took place at an event at Rutgers University, showcased the intricate planning and resilient partnership behind The Sentinel Mission.?

First Flight of Autonomous Expeditionary Resupply Drone

Kaman Corporation has conducted a first flight of the full-scale KARGO unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), an autonomous, expeditionary resupply vehicle.

The milestone is said to signify a major accomplishment in the ongoing flight test progression, with the development of this medium-lift unmanned aerial system now well underway.

Romin Dasmalchi , General Manager of KARGO UAV, said; “It is difficult to describe the sense of satisfaction one feels when watching an aircraft take flight for the first time, and very few people get the opportunity to participate in something like this. This team worked hard to get here, and the intensity continues as we look to move from prototyping to production.”

New Application Suite Update with GNSS Interference Insights?

Hexagon NovAtel has unveiled the?NovAtel Application Suite?Version 2.0, now including the GRIT Monitor application for GNSS interference insights.?

Improvements to the overall look and feel, firmware compatibility, and support for MarinePak, as well as an additional Manage application functionality (previously Setup & Monitor) are also included in NovAtel Application Suite Version 2.0.
