Doodle Labs Collaborates to Enhance UAV Communications

Communication expert Doodle Labs ?is collaborating with drone solutions and systems developer Draganfly Inc. , and control systems specialists UXV Technologies .

The collaboration aims to advance operational capabilities for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) used by law enforcement, first responders, and military specialists.?

The collaboration combines Draganfly’s Commander 3XL UAV, Doodle Labs’ Helix Mesh Rider?? Radio, and UXV Technologies'?Soldier Robotic Controller (SRoC) ground control station (GCS), together offering a secure, robust, and ruggedized solution for demanding missions.?

Cameron Chell , CEO of Draganfly, said; “Incorporating technologies from Doodle Labs and UXV Technologies provides a robust solution for many specific customers, especially for law enforcement, first responders, and military applications."

The Bionic Eye Launches New Industrial Cargo Drone

The Bionic Eye has launched the Gryphon GD-225X, an industrial cargo drone with patented folding octagon booms and a MTOM (maximum take of mass) of 250Kg.

Part of the Gryphon range of highly configurable drones, the GD-225X is an all-electric multi-rotor platform with folding arms for easy transportation.

Deployable in a few minutes, the GD-225X airframe weighs 57Kgs, with a payload capacity of up to 193 Kgs.

The GD-225X also has?anti-jamming technology?built in and the ability to fly in GPS-denied areas.

The wide variety of payload solutions includes cargo delivery and winch systems, fire fighting equipment, and specialist sensors. The drone can also be used to carry large Hollywood cinematography packages.

AeroVironment (AV) has introduced its Autonomy Retrofit Kit (ARK) and AVACORE software for?unmanned aerial systems (UAS).?

ARK and AVACORE bring AV’s accelerated autonomy to fielded assets such as Puma? 3 AE and Puma? LE, in addition to future?autonomous systems.

ARK is a quick-connect payload introducing a new suite of intelligent mission capabilities for Group 1+ UAS. Providing edge computing for mission-critical applications, ARK enables operators to task a single or multi-vehicle team with mission objectives for fully autonomous execution while operating in communications-contested environments.?

ARK also intelligently integrates with distributed groups of dismounted units in a Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) using the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK).?
