Battery Estimator for Wind Energy Efficiency Prototype Completed
ResilienX?Inc. has completed a prototype for a new capability to estimate the battery usage (BE-WindEE) for unmanned aerial systems, based on craft and battery characteristics and the forecasted wind profile. The research for the Battery Estimator for Wind Energy Efficiency (BE-WindEE) prototype was made possible through a Phase II SBIR Extension contract funded by?Spright,?PABLO AIR Co.,Ltd.?and?NASA.
Cutting-Edge UAV Propulsion System Introduced to the US
Field?and?Alva Industries?have announced a partnership that will increase safety and efficiency for Field’s UAV infrastructure inspection services in the United States.
Field has selected Alva as their sole supplier of the ALTUS X60 electric propulsion system for their large UAV platforms and has placed a large initial purchase order with Alva for the systems to be installed on Field’s UAV fleet and their customers’ UAV fleets.
Aerobits Releases Remote ID Solutions for OEMs
Aerobits?has launched a new OEM module for Remote ID purposes. The TT-RW1 is an OEM Direct/Broadcast Remote ID solution designed especially for global drone manufacturers who want to comply with FAA and EASA requirements. The small size and very low weight distinguishes the TT-RW1 module from other Remote ID modules and enables the product to be used in virtually any category of drones.
