Norway-based company Aviant is the $1 million grand prize winner of round eight of the GENIUS NY accelerator, leveraging advanced drone technology to provide autonomous last-mile delivery solutions, enhancing efficiency and reliability in logistics.?
Their system offers a seamless, on-demand delivery service, reducing delivery times and costs while improving customer satisfaction.
The year-long program attracts the world’s most innovative startups in the uncrewed systems field to Central New York. A total of $3 million is distributed, with the grand prize winner receiving a $1 million investment, and the other four finalists each being awarded $500,000.

Elistair is set to advance its?Khronos?fully automated tethered drone box after being selected as a winner of the ‘Excellence in Robotics and Smart Machines’ call for projects under the France 2030 plan.?
The new version of Khronos will offer enhanced capabilities, including an increased flight altitude of 90 meters (compared?to the current 60 meters), a dual payload port enabling integration of equipment such as telecom systems, and adaptation to maritime environments.

Volatus Aerospace has successfully completed a large drone solar farm inspection project.
The inspection spanned 2,250 acres, covering over 400MW of solar power capacity and 762,750 solar panels across 16 solar fields and 1 large substation.
Volatus utilized RGB and infrared (IR) drones in combination with handheld thermal cameras to collect comprehensive data, ensuring the solar farm’s operational readiness.?
