Humboldt County, Calif. – July 23, 2024
USPA Nationwide Security has initiated an investigative effort to find Bailey Blunt, a resident of Humboldt County who has been missing since September 22, 2023. To enhance the effectiveness of this mission, USPA has appointed Mike Edwards, a distinguished operative from their Kingsman nonprofit missing persons unit and a former Army Ranger, to lead the search.
Edwards brings an exceptional array of skills and experience, having served 22 years in the U.S. Army’s elite Tier-1 Special Mission Unit, the Regimental Reconnaissance Company (RRC). His illustrious military career includes commendations such as the Silver Star Medal, the Purple Heart Medal, and the Legion of Merit. Renowned for his proficiency in tracking individuals attempting to evade capture, Edwards played a pivotal role in the clandestine Omega program in Afghanistan, which supported CIA operations through locally recruited militias. His contributions were instrumental in critical operations, including the search for the kidnapped U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl and the apprehension of prominent insurgent leaders.
Bailey Blunt was last seen attending to her truck and planning to collect belongings from her then-boyfriend Tyler’s property. She has not been heard from since September 22, 2023, and was officially reported missing on September 25, 2023. Her sister, Steffany Baroni, stressed that it is uncharacteristic for Bailey to remain out of contact for such an extended period, underscoring the urgent need for information.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office suspects foul play but has withheld specific details. Bailey’s family, seeking closure, implores anyone with information to come forward.
