Using the times we are in to bond and refocus!

I was just at three stores here in the Los Angeles area and the shelves for most canned goods, pasta and frozen veggies are bare. In talking with fellow customers, they expressed concerns on shortages of some basics and day to day needs.
One thing that I mentioned in passing, while waiting in line, is that we may have more time for our families as schools, activities and other matters are put on hold. Wouldn't it be nice to think about our hectic lives, flurry of activity and continued going from place to place without much together time?
One of my "neighbors" in line mentioned, "well, that will work as long as they don't do too much gaming."
So, here it is an big opportunity to bond. To have more family time with few interruptions and more focus away from distractions.
What do you say about this as an opportunity?

5 年Thanks for sharing your thoughts Joe.? Let's make the most of this "time", as it is such a precious commodity that we are usually running low on.??This situation?gives us a chance to learn?how to connect with people in ways we may not otherwise think about or have the opportunity to do so.? We are human and that connection is so vital in our lives.? I'm with you Joe! #connection

5 年I saw a great quote in my "Morning Brew" today that really resonated. I think I'll put this into practice. "Every hand that we don't shake must become a phone call that we place." "Every embrace that we avoid must become a verbal expression of warmth and concern." "Every inch and every foot that we physically place between ourselves and another, must become a thought as to how we might be of help to that other, should the need arise."? ?-Rabbi Yosef Kanefsky
