Marketing on Pinterest in 2022


If you are on marketing TikTok, you may come across a ton of “Pinterest Marketers” claiming?Pinterest?is worth the full investment. For the last few years to be successful on Pinterest you had to run ads, or post 10-15 organic posts a day - which is insane. Pinterest influencers aren’t as helpful as no one really looks at other people’s profiles. Pinterest is a?searching social media channel?- meaning you most likely go looking for something or a specific topic to browse through - so placing ads on keywords (similar to Google) was the best way to go.

Recently the algorithm has changed and brand’s are seeing new success on the channel, not to mention their new app - Shuffles.

Otherwise, here are a few other things on my radar I wanted to share this week:

  1. Consistency is key - it takes at least 7x for a person to see a brand to then click for more or think about a purchase. This?video/brand?I have maybe seen about 10x on TikTok and I finally clicked to make my purchase - I think their consistency with posting, the content being similar (as well as just stands out from the instant satisfaction that the video gives) really broke me down to finally make an action.
  2. As we may be entering into a recession, it’s time to get creative. I love that?Mr. Beast?executed his brand by working with local business owners to help them stay in business, such a cool idea, and I think it’s a great one to get inspo from to change things up in your business.
