Course summary:
Using Neuroscience for more effective L&D
In principle, the man at the beginning of the course explained two important definitions, which are Metalearning and Neuroscience
And he said that Metalearning is about learning everything about learning
And the Neuroscience is
The study of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and sensory neuron networks, called neurons.
The man here at the beginning of the course said five reasons we gave up, we apply the principles of Neuroscience science in our job as coaches, and the 5 reasons are as follows:
1- You understand more about neuroplasticity or neuroplasticity and neuroplasticity is the process responsible for reconnecting brain cell networks in response to different experiences.
2 - There is a need that he said that curious people learn from themselves, you need to understand the science of neuroscience and let them know they go to science themselves, and here he said his sentences are very beautiful
You lead them to the water and they'll drink it.
3- The man said that attention is the door of memory, and that you need to know the techniques of making you attractive to the attention of people, in order to give up the effect of trainings in memory for a longer period.
4- You need to know how to let people retreat, recover, and practice
Training continuously, otherwise, they will forget every need in the training especially that most people have forgotten 80% of the need they learned in the training.
5- When you know what people’s mind is thinking and learning, you can remain credible by communicating the information to them.
The man also in the course talks about the four most important myths of people you talk about in the field of training and they are:
1- Logical people use the left hemisphere of the brain, and creative people use the right hemisphere of the brain, and of course it has a myth, because anyone uses the two halves together.
2- You are using only 10% of your brain’s ability and of course it is also a myth because you are using your brain at full capacity.
3- Lectures are the best way to teach in universities, and of course it has the largest myth, and it is clear that there is a difference between lectures and interactive teaching.
4- When you learn about the main topics in the pen, you think better and unfortunately, it also has a superstition.
The man in his response said that the only truth that people frequently repeat is that tests help you grow and grow your brain cells, so you learn better.
And after this man talk about a model called BASIC
And that this model tells about the methods that reduce interaction and learning, and if you want to do a successful training, you must avoid the 5 needs that are in the model, and they are in order.
1- B — Boredom
2- A — Abstract contains a summary
3- S — Stress pressure
4- I— Information overload gets you lost
Excess information
5- C — Cognitive
Too much talk about slides and complex sentences.
And after this man love, he answers a question
What trainers need to do for learners?
And here the man used a model named
Learner’s model
And he said that you are a good trainer who knows a distinguished training program, so you must be careful about the needs that he has:
L— links
Always try at the beginning of your trainings to ask people about what they know about x and let them make a link between what they know and what you are going to say.
E — Emotions
And here the man said that we think about the important needs, if they were related to an emotional need more because this made us feel safe or happy so try always to use pictures that are not understandable that arouse people's curiosity
You can also use puzzles or breathing exercises, change their places continuously, and let them work in small groups.
A — Attention
You said that attention is the key to memory, so always try to use the names of people and you interact with them and give them the freedom to choose and ask them constantly and take many small breaks and avoid the multi-tasking because the multi-tasking is the enemy of attention and focus.
R — Repetition
Try to spin more on the way to let them repeat information that they took.
N — Novelty ideas
And here you said, try to renew the training on what you can do even if simple needs like you change the room or you put the content on the posters or you work the brainstorm and that you always give the learner a sense of part of the control and use the response of the puzzle and games and exams and try Always train with your movement where there is a lot of movement.
E — Exercise
And here he said, of course, that tests help us learn better and think about what we have learned, so always try to be a key element in the training of your bag.
R — Recall
And here the man sees that the best way to retrieve information is the open questions and that it is the best of the multiple choice and he said that you need help the learners that they do recalling seven times not once but only in training and they are after
- After 10 minutes of training
- At the end of the session
- After 24 hours of training
- After a week
- After a month
After 3 months
After 6 months
And the last thing in the model is the
S — Stories
Always try to use stories because it helps to remember the best, and uses all the senses of the recipient, and reduces pressure, and boredom and links information to each other.
And the last thing in the course was the man saying that if you say any research in your trainings you must ask yourself 6 important questions
1- Who did this research?
2- What is your agenda today when you talk about research?
3- Where is the first time for this research to be published?
4- When did the first time spread?
5- How do I turn to a formal science and that it is not just a research that is still not sure of its authenticity?
6- The result of this research?
And the last thing I would like if you want to follow the instructor, you can follow it on the web or sell it to LinkedIn.

I hope you think of the summary, so that we can improve on it in the coming period.
