Mindfulness.
The use of this word has grown exponentially in the past few years. If go back 30 years, there were only a handful of peer-reviewed scientific studies focused on mindfulness.
World renowned emotional intelligent expert Daniel Goleman and neuroscientist, Richard Davidson, who runs the largest science lab that studies meditation, indicate that there are now well over 6000 scientific studies pointing to the benefits from mindfulness.
Some of the benefits cited are:
- Building Stress Resiliency
- Improved Focus
- Improved Well Being
Yet, despite our improved understanding of the benefits of mindfulness, we struggle to create a consistent and sustainable routine. Why is that?
There are several reasons, but one of the obstacles we encounter is that we tend to bite off more than we can chew in terms of the daily commitment we make.
If you’re looking to create a consistent and sustainable mindfulness routine why not commit to something so small, that it will be next to impossible not to do it every day?
