Using Microsoft Teams to Organize Your Daily Life

This year, Microsoft hosted its second Microsoft Teams App Development Challenge , which invited developers and organizations to build and publish a new collaborative Teams app or monetized transactable SaaS offer for a Teams app. Alon Ekelund built MIPA - My Intelligent Personal Assistant in Microsoft Team , the First Place - Subscription Offer winning submission that allows users to access all of their tasks, working items, and notes in one place.?

The inspiration behind this project was to provide users with a centralized information management experience to avoid losing track of their activities, lists, and emails in documents located in various applications. “We are very proud of the UI and design. We had a team of users testing it for us and the result was amazing. All responded by giving top rating to the design. We are also very proud of having so many integration points: Outlook, Planner, SharePoint, Teams, iGlobe CRM, Office2SharePoint, web, LinkedIn etc. We believe we have an app that can be extended with even with more integration points and we look forward to incorporating AI into our Personal Assistance. We are very proud of having achieved the Microsoft 365 App Certification for MIPA for Teams. We are proud to be on that very exclusive list.” -Alon Ekelund

In the future, Alon hopes to add more integration points to MIPA, including Microsoft Business Central, and Microsoft AI to make MIPA a more seamless and smarter personal assistance experience.

Congratulations Alon!
