Using ChatGPT Saves Me Time For Realsies

Growing Communities and Leveraging Content To Retain More and Boost ROI
Now that I use ChatGPT regularly, I barely write about it.
Most of the stuff I learned turned out to be true. You can in fact train specific GPTs to learn how to create the content you care about. You do in fact need to talk to it as though you were dealing with a 5 year old.
I’ve been using ChatGPT for a few things in my life and I’ve really come to see the value in my 30$ (CAD) a month I spend.
However since the free version got stupid good, I wanted to revisit ChatGPT and update y’all with some real deal use cases.
I use ChatGPT to make these article thumbnails
Sometimes the article requires a picture I take, and honestly those ones perform the best.
Other times the article is on some topic like ChatGPT and I’m at a loss on how to effectively visualize that thumbnail. I open my “Thumbnail Machine” chat and proceed to paste the article. I’ve already told it I don’t want it to use text (DALL-E cannot spell) and that it needs to be in landscape.
I can then add specific instructions like an art style, and away we go.?
DALL-E generates in a minute what used to take me 10 minutes in Canva.?
I convert my articles into LinkedIn Post Copy
I don’t have a lot of experience writing LinkedIn Posts.
When I have more time in the future I’ll deep dive into it. Maybe I’ll pay for wifi on the plane tomorrow and do some research. In the meantime, ChatGPT does a great job creating a concise summary of my article for a post.
It definitely tries harder than I would have. I did need to give it some instructions. Left to its own devices it would be redundant, but you can explain your desired outcome and the GPT will evolve.
Instead of spending 10-15 minutes writing that post, I get it back in a minute.
I use ChatGPT for post captions
Now that ChatGPT can actually use Bing and research in real time, it helps me do a few things.
It researches restaurants before I contact them. It can read their menu and learn their hours. It will create a quick summary of the reviews, good and bad.
Then I can explain what happens in a particular video. Based on my prompt, which can be a couple of hundred words sometimes, I get back a fire caption.?
To be clear I almost always have to read it over and make some edits, but instead of spending up to 30 minutes on a caption, the whole process takes under 5 minutes.
Basically ChatGPT is a machine that saves me time and I love it.
If you need help with it, and want to pay me to teach you, holla.
