Are you using #chatgpt yet? I've just been testing it's abilities to outline a course. Course creation is a powerful b2b tool that allows you to show off your expertise, build an audience and (later) upsell to consulting/advisory services.
BUT writing a course takes a tonne of time.
I just used ChatGPT to quickly outline a course on how to "start a coffee shop"
I used a couple of steps. First I used a combined prompt to give me a learning framework, a name for the course and the sections. This prompt did a lot of the heavy lifting.
Here's the prompt text :
Write me a course on how to X. Turn the major steps of the process into section titles. Combine the section titles into a clever framework that is an acronym. Include the acronmyn in the title of the course. Also write me a subtitle and description
And here's the beginning of the result using "start a coffee shop":
Next I asked ChatGPT to flesh out the sections into individual lessons. I went for 5 lessons per section. Here's the prompt I used : For each section give me 5 lesson titles

Finally I asked ChatGPT to start fleshing out the actual lesson content into scripts.
At this point I'd rewrite, add personality and expertise. This is where human intervention becomes important to make sure that the course isn't too generic!
But up until this point we've used ChatGPT to very quickly design and outline a course for us - saving countless hours.
If you haven't tried out ChatGPT yet I highly recommend you go and have a play whilst it's still free. And if you've been thinking about writing a course start plugging in the above prompts and see what it generates for you.
