Using Canva Website To Create a Portfolio!

Last month, I decided to revamp my portfolio and believe me, it has become the best conversation starter and an absolute game-changer.

That's why I've created a free, easily customizable Canva website template to help you showcase your skills. It comes in two versions: one for job seekers and another for freelancers.

You can easily share these with potential clients or employers to make a great first impression.

Lets walk you through how to use the template

Gather your work:

First things first Select pieces that best represent your skills and accomplishments. Aim for a variety of work that demonstrates different aspects of your capabilities.

Follow the links:

Personalize it:

Next, make it your own! Feel free to change up the colors, or fonts to match your style.

Include Header:

Kick-off with a clear header, and add your name and your title.

About Me

Write a short intro about yourself, your professional background, and what you’re passionate about. Think of this as your elevator pitch. Make it engaging and authentic.

Skills

• Technical Skills List relevant technical skills, tools, and software you are proficient in.
• Soft Skills Highlight interpersonal skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.

Degrees and Certifications

Include your educational background, such as degrees obtained and institutions attended. Also, mention any relevant certifications and courses.

Portfolio Projects

Feature a selection of your best work. Include images, descriptions, and links if possible. For each project, outline the objective, your role, the process, and the results.

Once you are done filling in all of this info, click on "publish website

• Then include the name you want to use as your website name as seen below and click on publish.
