USI Gives Back!

This year marks the fifth anniversary of USI Gives Back, a time we all come together across USI to give back to the communities that give so much to us. This very special program was launched in 2014 in celebration of USI’s 20th anniversary. It is an opportunity for all USI associates across the country to invest their time, talent and treasure in the neighborhoods in which we live and work, and participate in local volunteerism throughout the month of August. This year, we have an opportunity to help more people than ever before, due to the addition of more than 3,000 new team members including those from Wells Fargo, Key Bank and CHS. This year will be the best USI Gives Back celebration yet! This year’s USI Gives Back campaign will kick off on Wednesday, August 1. We are very proud of the difference this program enables us to make in our communities. Last year alone, our offices participated in more than 165 events totaling more than 15,000 hours. These volunteer efforts made a difference in a wide variety of non-profits and organizations. We packaged and sorted food donations that were distributed to the needy; worked as teachers’ aides at a special needs job training and placement center; beautified a senior assisted living facility; staffed the general store at a Special Olympics equestrian tournament; played basketball and videos games with teens at a runaway and homeless youth shelter; and many more. Collectively, we had a positive impact on more than 100,000 lives.

This year We had the pleasure of helping out at the City Mission at Laura's home helping the kids get ready to go back to school. What a great company I work with and the teamwork was awesome!
