The Chronicles of Ushbebe Live: The biggest comedy show in Nigeria
Although it might sound cliché with jingles similar to what you have heard before but the The Chronicles of Ushbebe Live will be the biggest comedy show in Nigeria. Why? You may ask, Justice Nuagbe aka Ushbebe, a Delta native and creative art graduate from Delta State University horned his craft under the tutelage of Nigeria’s foremost showman and award winning film maker, Ayo Makun (AY). Ay, a versatile entertainer was also a student under the Father of Comedy, Alibaba from his days at Delta state University, Abraka. Alibaba taught AY the trade, elements of showbiz, event planning and promoting.
However, AY didn’t stop as a comedian, he expanded his horizons venturing into big screen acting and film making with the sitcom AY’s crib in 2013 which featured Ushbebe, Alex Ekubo, Venita Akofure, and Buchi Franklin. The show revealed Ushbebe's dexterity and craftsmanship as he played a gateman, Ush- Ay’s distance relative from Warri.
Over the years, The AY brand has grown from studios in Alaka to Ikorodu and then Lekki developing the art. Ushbebe has grown with him learning first hand from the master.
Today, Ushbebe is a seasoned entertainer and a man of many talents with a cult following on social media. As an OAP, Ush also plays the role of a musician in weekly hilarious skits alongside fellow OAP Godwin Aruwayo. As a master of ceremony, he never fails to light up the event with rib cracking jokes.
This seventh edition is the evolution of Ushbebe as an entertainer and showman. This edition will feature Africa’s biggest entertainers like Starboy artist, Mr Eazi who has #1 album on itunes world chart for the mixtape Accra to Lagos, Phyno, winner for song of the year at the headies, Olamide, YBNL chieftan who just released his sixth studio album The Glory, not to forget comedians like Kenny Blaq, Akpororo, AY, Gordons just to mention but a few.
We expect nothing less than awesomeness from Ushbebe, having learnt from 2 masters in comedy and show business.
