The USGS Kevlar taglines offer high visibility and durability for hydrological measurements. The wading tagline features a Kevlar inner core enclosed in a bright orange/yellow woven nylon jacket, marked with black ink for visibility.
Imperial taglines are marked at intervals, while metric taglines are marked every meter.
The Type 1 tagline reel, made of high-impact Lexan plastic, can hold up to 600 feet of Kevlar tagline and includes a built-in handle for easy anchoring—a versatile tool for fieldwork in hydrology.
