I know your secret…
No need to panic just yet... but let me show you how one could access (your) User Secrets — so that you can protect them… or use the same method in the forensic investigation or in data recovery.
Your head might not be the best place to save a gazillion of complex passwords — goes without saying.
But what about KeePass, can you trust it completely? Is it safe to store your password in the browser?
In this two episodes of CQURE Hacks Weekly, I’ll also talk about hardcore subject of Data Protection API.
Because CQURE did a lot of discoveries within this field (and yes, we’re very proud of it), I want to share with you one of our special tools that we use to crack Data Protection API open.
Are this thing sound exciting to you?
I talked about this subject in two blog posts on the CQURE Academy blog:
>> User secrets part 1 – is it safe to store your password in the KeePass?
>> User secrets part 2 – is it safe to store your password in the browser?
If you like this tutorials, share it with your fellow geeks!
