User Newsletter | October 2024

Welcome to the October 2024 User Newsletter!

In this edition of the User Newsletter, we bring you updates in some of our most popular integrations, a new translation of Ongoing WMS to Hungarian, an additional security step in the pack scanning, and new features in Transporter Assignments.

General updates

Below is a curated selection of the latest enhancements and features to Ongoing WMS. We recognize the importance of a clutter-free interface for optimal performance and productivity. To this end, most new features are deactivated by default and can be activated based on your preferences. Should you wish to enable a specific feature, please contact your designated Ongoing contact person.

Transporter Assignments

In Transporter Assignment, found under Registers->Automation, you can now add filters based on ‘post number starts with’. This is a string field and can be used for countries such as the United Kingdom where post codes start with letters (rather than digits).

There is also a more granular setting for controlling when the assignment settings should be allowed to overwrite an order's transporter (if the order already has a transporter set when the order is sent to Ongoing WMS). Previously, you could choose to always or never let Ongoing WMS overwrite the transporter. Now there is a third option: You can choose to allow Ongoing WMS to overwrite the transporter but only if it is not “Receiver Pays”. In practice, this allows you to use transporter assignments for orders which are “Sender Pays”, and for “Receiver Pays” orders you can keep the information which was originally submitted to Ongoing WMS.

Finally, in Transporter Assignment, you can now filter by ‘order comment contains’.

New Translations

The system has been translated to Hungarian.

Automatic Emails

In the Picked goods automatic email, you can now display the customer’s address.

Order Classes

In Order Classes, found under Registers->Types, you can now delete multiple entries at once.

scanning

In the Pack Scanning, there is an option which makes it mandatory to scan all the order’s shipping labels before finishing. This allows you to verify that all of the order’s packages are accounted for.

We continuously make sure our in-house-developed integrations are up and running smoothly. Below, we have listed some of last month’s updates. Find more information about all integrations in our Documentation Center.
