Below is a curated selection of the latest enhancements and features to Ongoing WMS. We recognize the importance of a clutter-free interface for optimal performance and productivity. To this end, most new features are deactivated by default and can be activated based on your preferences. Should you wish to enable a specific feature, please contact your designated Ongoing contact person.

Keep Stock Balances for Pallet Types

Ongoing WMS now offers a new feature to manage stock balances for pallet types. Many warehouses need to monitor their packaging materials, such as the number of boxes or pallets of a specific type in stock. This new function simplifies tracking by allowing users to maintain accurate stock balances for packaging materials, organized by goods owner.

Filter Orders by Comments in Warehouse Assignment

The 'Warehouse Assignment' function now includes a filter for order comments, enabling users to locate and process specific orders based on comments quickly.

Save Custom Dates with 'Article Item Free Date 1'

A new field, 'article item free date 1', has been added to article items. This customizable date field can be used to save and manage dates for any purpose, offering greater flexibility in organizing inventory-related timelines.

Group Allocated Orders by Shipment

'Allocated Orders Overview' now supports grouping orders by shipment, making it easier to organize and analyze orders linked to specific shipments, for example, when creating pick orders based on shipments.

Set Priorities for Pick Orders

A new priority field has been introduced for pick orders. This allows warehouses to prioritize orders, ensuring that high-priority items are picked first. This update improves workflow planning and allows urgent orders to be processed faster.

Cargoflux

• Trackback for Shipment Updates: The integration now fetches updated shipment data from Cargoflux to automatically update transporter event statuses in Ongoing WMS. This ensures real-time delivery visibility, allowing users to track when a shipment has been delivered or when other status changes occur.
• Book Pickups: Users can now schedule pickups directly from the warehouse in Ongoing WMS. This feature is especially useful for transporters used infrequently, providing flexibility and convenience for occasional shipping needs.

Fortnox

• Daily Order Sync: A new daily sync function automatically retrieves any missed orders, reducing errors caused by missed data transfers.

nShift Returns

• New Integration: The new integration to nShift Returns simplifies warehouse return management by seamlessly integrating with Ongoing WMS. This return management system tracks return orders from the customer to the warehouse, creating return orders directly in Ongoing WMS for improved control and efficiency.

PostNord

• Automatic Printing of Reports: The integration can now be configured to automatically print reports, such as PDF shipping labels, once retrieved. Only the latest version of a report is printed, saving time and reducing manual printing errors, particularly when orders are re-dispatched.

Shipmondo

• Fetch Proforma Invoices: The integration now retrieves proforma invoices for shipments outside the EU, ensuring compliant documentation is readily available for dispatch.

Shopify

• Prepared Shipment Data from Shipmondo Checkout App and Posten Bring App: The integration now processes prepared shipment data from the Shipmondo Checkout app and Posten Bring app. This is particularly useful for accessing details like the selected delivery service and pickup location during checkout.
• Daily Article Sync for Obsolete Flag: A new daily logic fetches all articles from Shopify and updates their obsolete status in Ongoing WMS. Articles found in Ongoing WMS but missing in Shopify are marked as obsolete, helping maintain accurate and clean inventory records. This feature is optional and can be activated in the settings.

Specter

• Improved Stock Calculation: The integration now accounts for stock levels impacted by other integrations when synchronizing with Specter. For goods owners using multiple integrations, this ensures physical stock reflects reserved quantities from pending orders, preventing overselling and improving inventory accuracy.

Visma.net

• Fetch Delivery Notes: The integration now supports retrieving delivery notes from Visma.net when fetching shipments.

Webshipper

• Country-Specific Taric Codes: The integration now uses country-specific Taric codes for customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in international shipping.
