Useful Nutrition Therapy for Dengue Patients

As a matter of fact, the number of cases of dengue patients is rising so it's important to take precautionary measures. Regardless of other precautionary measures proper diet plays a pivotal role in the fastest recovery of dengue patients. Papaya leaves juice

Certainly, papaya leaf juice increases platelet count by 15 times as it contains an enzyme platelet-type lipoxygenase that speeds up platelet production due to the presence of papain and chymopapain?which are actually enzymes that correct digestive issues and smooth gut functioning. Also, the presence of various antioxidants in it makes it a perfect snack for dengue fever. Mix 30ml papaya juice with some water and take it thrice a day for faster recovery.

Also, it contains chemicals Nimbin and Nimbidin?that have anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, detoxification, and antipyretic properties. Grapefruit and orange

Eventually,?the presence of flavanones in grapefruit lowers the rate of replication of the dengue virus.?The presence of several antioxidants and other nutrients boost the immune system and increase the production of white blood cells.

Herbal tea

Since the dengue patient requires strong immunity to fight against the virus it's important to add anti-viral and immunity-boosting herbs and spices to enhance faster recovery. You may add turmeric, ginger, garlic, pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg to your daily meals?or make herbal tea using them.

Oatmeal

Besides oatmeal being easy to digest in fever they also provide energy to the body to recover from weakness. In case of lactose intolerance, you may add lactose-free milk like soy milk, almond milk, oats milk, and coconut milk.
