We’re asking business across the region to take part in our Access to Finance Survey, to better understand the appetite for financial support in this area and highlight what changes businesses need, to access the support required to grow and expand.

As a Chamber, we have the power to influence and lobby for the kinds of improvement that your business needs, and this survey will equip us with the insights required to promote the changes required to better fit the needs of your business. ?

The data gathered from this survey will be used to gauge how strong the private sector demand is locally for loans and investment and highlight the changes that your business needs to improve this area. This is a vital piece of research that allows us to campaign for the right support that your business requires locally, regionally and nationally.

Our Access to Finance Survey is an opportunity for you to have your voice heard, so we can identify business' top considerations when looking for support and highlight any hurdles or disruptions businesses have faced. Quarterly Economic Survey

The data gathered from our Access to Finance Survey forms South Yorkshire’s contribution to the nationwide Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) and is just one of many ways that our members can use their voice to influence policymaking, which will ultimately improve the business landscape in our region.

The QES is a widely-read, well respected and influential report, which has the power to shape the economic landscape in Doncaster and beyond. It is known as a significant economic indicator and provides valuable insights into the challenges businesses are facing in Doncaster and beyond.

The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee uses the data gathered from the QES as one of its key benchmarks when setting interest rates, showing that this is not just a survey - this is a powerful tool that drives decisions and shapes policies that affect our local economy.

The results are closely watched and allows the business community, key decision makers and the wider community to have their finger on the local economic pulse. The South Yorkshire QES is sponsored by South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) and Clear Group.
