Use Your Quiet Power

Use Your Quiet Power

Speaking up is important.

There is a power we bring when we give claim to a cause, voice to an idea, and shine light on a change that needs to be made.

“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
– Mahatma Gandhi –

Listening is equally important.

Listening allows us to hear.

Hear the pain of suffering.

Hear the will for change.

Hear the desire to be and do good.

We’ve made mistakes and we’ve gotten things wrong.

“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”
– Mahatma Gandhi –

Let’s use these mistakes and wrongs to learn, love and grow to be better.

Not to cast more pain, shame and blame.

“Whenever you are confronted with an opponent, conquer him with love.”
– Mahatma Gandhi –

Let’s use love to heal, compassion to connect and empathy to create change.

Take a moment to be still.

Listen and use your quiet power to hear the voice of change.

Listen to hear who you need to be to create it.

When you stop to listen, what do you hear?

If you’re compelled to share, I’d love to hear from you.
