Use Our Sponsors: A Great Way to Raise Money for Cricket Clubs...

A few years I created a website called Use Our Sponsors to help mine and other cricket clubs raise money from business sponsors. 

I then got involved in the formation of B3 Cricket (a new cricket bat manufacturer) and I put UOS on the back burner whilst I focused on building B3.

However, I did use UOS for some local clubs that I am involved with and it’s been very successful for those who have put the time in.  At my village club, Papplewick and Linby CC we have raised over ￡5000 this season using UOS website to build our own "mini yellow pages" of local businesses.

The difficulty in the past was explaining the concept to both our members and potential sponsors. In answer to this I decided to make a short video which would explain the concept and enthuse both our members and potential sponsors. Now B3 is up and running, I am going to give UOS another go and make it available to other clubs again. The site can work for any organisation not just cricket clubs. It could work for a school, university, scout group etc.. etc..
