Use This One Simple Hack to Build REAL Confidence ???? ??

Have you ever lacked confidence while meeting new people, starting a new job, or learning a new skill?

For me, the first thing that comes to mind is when I started college at Michigan State.

I was skinny, socially awkward, didn’t know many people, and was in a totally new environment.

Now I wouldn’t say I was the most confident person at that time, but within 3 months, that drastically changed.

Since I didn’t know many people, and wasn’t too drawn to partying or drinking like most, I decided to spend my free time in the gym.?????♂?

It was there that I met some amazing friends, built tons of muscle, and developed a whole new confidence/ attitude on life.

I put in the work and it began to show, but what transformed more than my body was actually my mind ?? 

Suddenly, I had the confidence to go up and meet new people, put myself in new & uncomfortable situations, and OWN being a little different.

This wasn’t an overnight transformation though, and it wasn’t a magic switch I just flipped. It came as a result of doing the work. 

One thing I’ve noticed about true and authentic confidence is it has to be earned, it can’t be bought or faked.

It comes from repeating actions or experiences that are scary, uncomfortable, and difficult.

It comes from expressing courage in the face of fear, and suddenly that fear begins to melt away.

Real confidence is ultimately the difference between success and failure.

Either you’re catapulted to your goals and dreams, or you’re stuck wishing and wanting without taking any action.

So whether it’s starting a new business, introducing yourself to someone attractive, entering an uncomfortable situation, or making a big investment.. confidence is arguably the most valuable trait you can have??
