Use it or Lose it
Hi dearie, Iqmat here again…
“At some point you have to stop reading and start doing”~ Ruchika Tomar. You probably have heard this statement like a 1000 times but i’ll say it again anyways and a couple more of it, “a little drops of water make a mighty ocean”~Julia Carney, “practice make progress” ~Mark Hawthorne.
Okayyyy…enough of quotes.

But frankly if we take a second look at these statements we would realise that they are actually very true.
So, there are four major learning styles according to the VARK model. We have the visual learner, auditory learner, reader and Kinaesthetic learner…. Amongst all four, the Kinaesthetic learner is quite different and I want us to copy them.
Because, the Kinaesthetic learner are hands-on, they prefer to learn and practice simultaneously or would I say they learn by doing. In short, they action out what they are learning almost at that spot and this really help because most times they practice whatever they learn and the acquired knowledge does not go to waste.
Unlike the rest of us that we prefer to learn by reading, listening or seeing, practicing whatever knowledge we might have assimilated requires effort to action out. But if you really don’t apply the knowledge you gain it is just as if you haven’t gained the knowledge.
because what you don’t use, you lose just like the quote from Marian Diamond ~ “Use it or lose it”
And “If knowledge is not put into practice, it does not benefit one” ~ Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Thanks for reading and I hope you get to use whatever knowledge that you’ve gained recently.
