To use a group in site creation or not to use a group?

To use a group in site creation or not to use a group? that is the million dollar question.
A lot of people are asking me this question and most of them are SharePoint People who are confused what to do. For years they have been working with SharePoint. Now since they started working with Office 365 which they still call SharePoint online(I myself as well) They get more and more things that integrate.
But that is ok if we still use de Classic(antique) SharePoint as it does not create a group or integrate with other things. And we still have a lot of Power using the Content Editor to sideload or Javascripts. Actually, I see us(SharePoint people) as creatures of habit.
Since last year Microsoft is adjusting the Microsoft Platform more and more. With the Modern experience(which should be the normal experience by now) A lot of consultants and devs did not understand the move. But from an end user perspective with that I mean people that are new to Office 365 they were happy. The interface has never been so easy! But for a lot of Devs it was/is a total nightmare as they have to adjust their skills as creatures of habit that is really hard.
If this was all change we would have been the only change people would play a long. But a later we did get the Office 365 Group. And that was really something like a big container with mail conversation and other applications where very minimal changes could be made. Permissions were used and set from the Office 365 portal instead of going to settings and then set the permissions breaking inheritance what is that….
It was looking a lot like plain SharePoint with some integration. So a few people were getting nervous if the groups were the new SharePoint. But as long as it is separated no big deal and we will continue to build hour SharePoint Sites.
Later this year users got the option to create a new SharePoint Site and it would create a group as well. Whoops we did not expect that one...
So every end user that creates a site will get a group for free… I hear you thinking what about my governance model en Adoption my end users do not know what to do with that we only learned them to use SharePoint, not the other stuff...
So Microsoft also thought about that if you create a site via the SharePoint Admin Portal you can create a Classic Teamsite. There you will have the option to put on the Modern Features. He we are back in business I hear you thinking.
But then you go to Ignite and you here Microsoft Saying we will be able to Groupify everything. Even your old Classic sites will be able to get a group.
I got a question for you what will you do?
A. Create a site with a Group
B. Create a site as a classic teamsite
C. Create a Microsoft Team and forget the whole thing.
D. Other…..
As for myself I would go for A. Cause I think the adoption of a group will become easy and a great place to do your Team work.
