The Use of Electrospun Materials in Orthopaedics
The Electrospinning Company Ltd.
Bringing Your Medical Device Design to Life. Electrospun Material Development, Validation, and Scale-Up
The Electrospinning Company develops electrospun biomaterials for orthopaedics applications in sports medicine, trauma and spine.
Biological grafts such as allografts and xenografts are commonly used in the surgical repair of sports injuries and orthopaedic trauma. However, these biological grafts have their limitations, some of which can be overcome with synthetic materials.
In this short case study, we look at the use of electrospun materials in Orthopaedics and how the versatility of electrospinning can help overcome the limitations of biological grafts. Our team will exhibit at the AAOS conference in Las Vegas in March.?
The Electrospinning Company team has been at?MD&M conference Anaheim, in US.
