Use ChatGPT to create a style guide and learn more about your writing

I’m having so much fun messing around with #ChatGPT. Here’s what I got up to today.

First, some quick background: for the past few years, I’ve been compiling my best 1,000 albums of all time (much more on this project if you’re interested, here).

Recently, I published a blog post to sing the praises, so to speak, of a fantastic band and album which both happen to be called Le Tigre. It’s number 549 on the best 1,000 albums ever list. ?

Today, I decided to ask ChatGPT to create a style guide based on the text of this blog post. Here’s what it responded with:

I then decided to have some fun and asked it to describe my writing style.

Feeling rather playful at this point, I asked it to describe my sense of humor. ?

Then I got serious again and asked it for tips to improve my writing.

And finally, I asked it for suggestions on how to improve the #SEO of this blog post.

While you might quibble that the SEO tips are a tad generic, clearly we are just scratching the surface of what’s possible with ChatGPT and #AI. I haven’t been this excited (and slightly terrified!) about new technology in many years.?
