The use of Semi coke:

At present, the main application fields of Newalltrade's semi coke are: metallurgy field, chemical field, clean fuel field, etc.

1. Metallurgical field

(1) Iron alloy reducing agent. Compared with metallurgical coke, using Yulin blue carbon to produce ferroalloy can reduce power consumption by 10%, save 300~500kW h per ton of electricity, save 70~90kg of coke, and increase the output of a single furnace by more than 10%. Since the 1990s, the production of ferroalloys has basically used the mixing of semi coke and metallurgical coke as reducing agents.

(2) blast furnace injection materials. In many iron and steel enterprises such as Baotou Steel, Shougang, Baosteel, Jiugang, etc., the test of semi coke replacing anthracite as blast furnace injection material was carried out. The test shows that Yulin blue carbon is superior to the existing blast furnace pulverized coal, and it is technically feasible to prepare blue carbon powder. In 2011, Shenmu County Coal Chemical Industry Office and Anshan Thermal Energy Institute conducted a field test of "3200m3 blast furnace injection of Shenmulan carbon powder" (orchid carbon powder accounted for 15% of the total coal consumption) in Anshan Iron and Steel General Plant. The injection of the blast furnace has no adverse effect on the forward run of the blast furnace, and is beneficial to desulfurization. As long as the ratio of blue carbon powder reaches 10%, it can save more than 30% of the cost compared with the use of anthracite.

2. Chemical field

(1) Calcium carbide reducing agent. Benefiting from low ash, low aluminum, low phosphorus and high resistivity, semi coke is used in the calcium carbide industry, which can significantly reduce energy consumption, reduce costs and improve product quality.

2) Fertilizer gas production raw materials. Low-ash and low-sulfur blue charcoal is used for chemical fertilizer gas production, which can improve gas production rate, reduce ash and slag emissions, and reduce gas desulfurization, thereby reducing energy consumption and improving gas quality.

(3) Gasification to syngas. Compared with the direct gasification of low-rank bituminous coal, Yulin orchid gasification reduces the tar content in the syngas, increases the effective gas content, and reduces the burden of the gas purification unit. The market is huge.

3. Clean fuel field

(1) Civil fuel. semi coke has only 1/5 of the pollutant content of raw coal, especially the sulfur is only 1/10 of the raw material. It is a suitable civil clean fuel and can replace the civil anthracite in urban and rural areas, especially in the surrounding areas of semi coke production enterprises. Strong market competitiveness.

(2) Power plant fuel. semi coke has low volatile content, generally 5% to 7%, and the highest is 10%. It also has the characteristics of low sulfur, low phosphorus and high calorific value. Starting from the benefit of combustion and environmental protection, according to the existing experimental data, it is completely feasible to use the circulating fluidized bed boiler to burn semi coke.

4. The field of coke and adsorbent

(1) Type focus field. With the development of my country's blue carbon industry, a series of research experiments on blue carbon production of coke have been carried out in China. The test shows that blue carbon powder can be used as the main raw material of formed coke after adding a certain binder or tackifier,and can be made into high-quality civilian coke and casting coke.

(2) The field of adsorbents. With the rapid development of the semi coke industry, Semi coke-based adsorbents have attracted widespread attention at home and abroad in recent years, and a series of studies have been carried out. Some of them have been applied, and a new field has been developed for the high-value utilization of semi coke .
