A survey of almost 12,000 professionals and employers across the UK found that over ? of UK workers aged 25-29 years old had taken advantage of AI when applying for a new job.

49% of those who used AI to help with job applications said they were more successful.

The survey also showed that 4% of organisations are using AI to evaluate the job applications they receive – to scan CV’s and score candidates. 16% of UK organisations expect to increase their use of AI to evaluate job applications in the future.

?

AI is ever evolving and won’t be going away any time soon. Should AI be used to rate candidate applications? Or is there a risk of ruling out a fantastic candidate because the computer didn’t like them….
