USA Cares Program of the Week: Providing Assistance for the Combat Injured

Every day, USA Cares receives multiple requests for help from veterans like Tom, who continue to face hardships related to the injuries they incurred while in service to our country. Unfortunately, many veterans who are willing to take the next step and get treatment for their conditions are unable to provide for their families while getting the help that they need. USA Cares' Combat Injured program exists to help the families of veterans seeking treatment by providing funds to cover utilities, housing, food and fuel. Some of these bills are small, requiring only a few dollars to keep them current; others are much larger and without being paid, could render a family homeless or without heat during the winter months. USA Cares relies on charitable donations from both individuals and corporations to keep these veterans and military families from suffering further as a result of their service.
