The US Supreme Court has NOW decided to ban affirmative action in college admissions.
Equality will not work when whole groups of people are behind by at least 400 years. Sotomayor said it best in her dissenting judgement.
"Ignoring race will not equalize a society that is racially unequal. What was true in the 1860s, and again in 1954, is true today: Equality requires acknowledgment of inequality.”
