Hello Fleet & Mobility Players!? ?

For this Newsletter, I am going to highlight some of the new things coming up from Fleet Mobility Today (FMT), followed by recognizing some of new executives in our industry. ?

First of all, FMT has started recording Country Profiles which highlights key data such as economy, vehicle sales, energy prices, and other things in a particular country. The first is a snapshot of the United States but other countries are scheduled to be published soon.?

Moreover, I will soon be publishing interviews with key executives associated with the fleet and mobility industry. The first one will be aired on February 27 and it will involve an interesting talk about artificial intelligence and how it impacts vehicle fleet, mobility, and our lives in general. ?

My special interview guest will be Manuj Aggarwal who is a keynote speaker on AI and the future of humanity as well as the CIO of data and AI consulting company TetraNoodle Technologies . During our talk, we will discuss ways to improve fleet efficiency and safety with AI, talk about autonomous vehicles, the future of humanity, and more.?

Last but not least, don't forget that we will be launching the Fleet Mobility Today website on Leap Year, February 29 (2024), a simple but informative website which we expect to be growing in the months to come. ?

New Appointments?

There have been many new appointments in the last few weeks, but here are just a few of them.?

As for automakers, Tesla has named Teresa Gutierrez?as Country Manager (Sales & Service) in Mexico, formerly the General Manager of?Latam last-mile delivery service company Rappi . ?With an existing supercharger network and an upcoming multi-billion-dollar giga-factory underway, Mexico is Tesla's first leap into Latin America.? ?

Also, Grant Carter has gone on to assume the position of Senior Project Manager for Tesla’s Fleet and Business team out of San Antonio Texas.? ?

Fisker - another US-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer – appointed Angel Salinas, CPA as its Chief Accounting Officer, working out of Los Angeles California. ? ?

Moreover, for Stellantis North America, Carlos Zarlenga has been appointed COO, Jason Stoicevich appointed SVP of retail sales, and Jeffrey Kommor named SVP of commercial sales. Meanwhile, Jerry Z. is now Senior Manager, Fleet & Commercial Sales for 日产 out of the USA.

Down south in Brazil, Arthur Carneiro Neto started his new job as aftersales commercial consultant for Volkswagen do Brasil and Evandro Maggio will be heading Toyota in the country as CEO, starting March 1st.?

To wrap up the list, let’s not forget Emily Graham who is now Director of Energy & Connectivity for fleet management and mobility firm Holman , John Walsh who is President - as well as CCO - in the Americas for vehicle charging company EO Charging , Tony Eiermann who is COO for SYCS TRUCKING COMPANY , and and Maximiliano Rendón who is Fleet Leader at? 勃林格殷格翰 .?

Once again, to all Newsletter subscribers, thanks for being a part of the Fleet Mobility Today Association (FMTA). As we all work toward growing and maturing the fleet and mobility market in the Americas together, feel free to send me a message if you have any ideas or suggestions.?

Although this newsletter is in English, it is directed to all in the Americas so we conduct business in Spanish and Portuguese as well.
