In US Politics - Who Owns the GPS?

It's time for political leaders across the ideological spectrum to realize that, while partisanship is understandable, hyper-partisanship is destructive to our country. Who owns the GPS in US Politics? This is a easy question to answer. The American voters do. Doesn't the head of the donkey or elephant come before their tails? Chopping off their tails will only bring anger, and more division. "Hate begets hate, violence begets violence, toughness begets a greater toughness. The American voters need to lead by example by uniting for a common cause; not through violent, harmful, and damaging protests. This can work; if we give peace a chance.
